Pay a fine
You have a fine to pay because you committed an offence with a vehicle. You received at your home address a letter and a police report from the Police or Ministry of Public, with additional information about your offence.
On this website you can manage your fine online:
- Pay and check if your payment is registered
- Contest
- Correct an invalid payment.
Logon with your 'Police report number' and 'Identification code'. These data can be found in the blue frame on the letter you received at home.
News
Currently, fraudulent e-mails circulate to pay traffic fines.
The tone of the emails is usually urgent and alarming. Example: "You still have an outstanding amount to pay for breaking traffic rules. You have already received a reminder."
Do not react to such e-mails and do not pay the amount claimed.
If you committed a traffic offence, the police sends you a letter via postal mail. On the letter, you will find some information allowing you to pay your fine on www.trafficfines.be.
The police never sends a payment request by e-mail.
